Camino Education Consulting Group is an assembled group of experienced education professionals dedicated to provide innovative learning opportunities to teachers and school administrators.

President and CEO

Dr. Misael Nascimento

Dr. Nascimento is the President and CEO of Camino Education Consulting Group, bringing over 30 years of expertise as a teacher, school, and district office administrator. With a deep passion for bilingual and dual language education, he has dedicated much of his career to designing impactful programs that serve English learners. As a keynote speaker, Dr. Nascimento addresses the challenges faced by English learners, drawing from his own personal experience as an English learner who successfully navigated the American education system. His journey has made him one of the most recognized names in bilingual education in Illinois. Prior to founding Camino Education, Dr. Nascimento served as the Executive Director of Illinois' third-largest bilingual program, overseeing the education of over 7,000 English learners. His leadership and expertise continue to shape the future of bilingual education, fostering inclusivity and success for students across the nation. With a deep love and appreciation for education, Dr. Nascimento has earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s from North Park University, a Master’s from McCormick Seminary, a Master’s from Benedictine University, an Ed.S. from Northern Illinois University, and both a Master's and Doctoral degree from Aurora University.
